John Barr was born in Nebraska in 1943 and grew up in Illinois. Returning to Harvard for an MBA, he graduated a Baker Scholar in 1972. Since then he has pursued parallel careers as poet and investment banker. As a businessman, John Barr has been a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and has founded three companies. As a poet,he has published widely in literary journals, in three fine press editions books by Warwick Press, and is the author of Grace, published by Story Line. John Barr is President Emeritus of the Poetry Society of America.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Beatriz Badikian has been writing poetry in English and Spanish for many years. She teaches at Roosevelt University and is currently working on short fiction as well as longer essays. Her work can be found in Astillas De Luz-Shards of Light ( Tia Chucha Press), and a new collection, Mapmaker revisited: Mew and Selected Poems, She is also an accomplished visual artist.Performers
