Join Robert Morris College students and faculty in creative writing, poetry video and performance studies for and evening of word and image. Gerard Wozek, a poet and full time writing instructor and Mary Russell, filmmaker and fine arts professor, offer several of their award winning poetry videos including I Call the Moon My Mother which recently screened at festivals in San Francisco and Vancouver.
Paula Beer, curriculum chair of the English Department, introduces the college?s premier literary journal Egg. Authors who appear in the journal will join members of the Robert Morris College Performing Arts Group to share original poetry, narratives and story telling. Alumni and up and coming local wordsmith, Marlon Billups, will be on hand to perform selections from his new manuscript.
