Literature for All of Us is a dynamic, community-based, not for profit literary organization that brings the rewards of reading and writing through book group discussions to teen mothers and girls.
Literature for All of Us is a dynamic, community-based, not for profit literary organization that brings the rewards of reading and writing through book group discussions to teen mothers and girls. Writing from their lives, the participants create moving and engaging poetry. The students are from Irene Dugan Alternative School, Manley High School and Simpson Alternative School.
GirlSpeak is a leadership program for young women. Students from high schools across the city meet to learn about themselves and engage other stories of and from women. The students participate in writing and performance workshops led my Chicago?s top performers and writers. GirlSpeak performs in schools and various performance venues throughout the city.Performers
