Theis experimental work, the first episode in her epic drama ?Homer G. & the Rhapsodies in the Fall of Detroit,? premiered at the Lorraine Hansberry Theater in San Francisco to outstanding reviews.

This experimental work, the first episode in her epic drama ?Homer G. & the Rhapsodies in the Fall of Detroit,? premiered at the Lorraine Hansberry Theater in San Francisco to outstanding reviews. The San Jose Mercurher many credits include co-producer and senior writer for the acclaimed five part NBC television news series ?Images & Realities,? an examination of the media imagery of African Americans. A graduate of Harvard University, Ms. Bayezza formerly was Arts in Education Director of Court Theatre, the professional theater at the University of Chicago. She was recently appointed Arts Director of the Duncan YMCA Chernin Shoes Center for the Arts. Along with reading prose selections , she will lead a workshop. The evening will begin with an Open Mic hosted by Laird Davis.
