?Conversations,? a three-person poetry performance piece, visits the unseen and steamy side of the moral majority, the heroism of society?s shunned and the hypocrisy of those that have been elevated to her status.

?Conversations? was conceived to revolve around figures such as Eve, who has fallen from grace, the Ghost Priest, who violates a young man?s innocence, and Rita, who defines her world from behind the window of a commuter bus.

Each poet will perform their own material. Nina Corwin has performed, as a featured reader, across the states of Chicago, Boston, Bermuda, and Washington D.C. She appeared as the female incarnation of Tennessee Williams in Theatre Wrzuc?s ?Tennessee Williams: Moments Through Colored Glass? and has co-produced several major poetry events including a handful of Silence and Thunder events. Brian Gary Kirst has recently spent the majority of his time revealing himself upon the stages of Bailiwick Repertory as an adaptor/writer ?He Wore Guns,? actor ?Two Boys in a Bed on a Cold Winter?s Night? and director ?Success in Numbers.?

Christopher Stewart has read and performed in theaters and poetry venues throughout Chicago. Most recently, his work has been published in Coffee house Poet?s Quarterly and Jackleg Press. He has also been featured on WBEZ and WTTW in Chicago and WYYZ in Philadelphia. His work appears on the Tia Chucha Press poetry-music CD, ?A Snake in the Heart.?
