Filmmaker/performer Lisa Kotin presents her new one-woman show Beyond the Fridge, back from smash one-night stands in Chicago (where it played as Miss Diagnosis) and New York City. This Multimedia romp tells the bittersweet tale of Laurel, a model whose psyche location is that peculiarly female nexus where sex and chocolate conjoin. Kotin?s cast of characters includes mom, dad a team of therapists and a chocolate bar, size extra large, while self-help hints (?How to Make Love With the Lights On and Look Great Doing It?) abound. Short films (Anatomy of a Bingo, Bar Hopping) and Kotin?s always masterful physical comedy promise a uniquely entertaining evening.
