Bus Stops – Performance by Scrap Mettle Soul

Scrap Mettle Soul, Edgewater Uptown’s community performance organization will perform an original musical play, “Bus Stops,” based on true stories gathered from the people of the Edgewater Uptown neighborhood.Through interviews and workshops, performers in this intergenerational, multi-cultural ensemble gather stories from community residents, and work with local artists to dramatize them. The original musical play that results weaves the diverse stories together in a way that challenges and celebrates the community. The performance will be followed by audience-interactive workshop appropriate for all ages.
