With an introduction by Haki R. Madhubuti, One Less Road?is a collection of ?life experiences? that emanates suppressed emotions from its reader ? shedding light, knowledge, and a flair of romance. Special guests include performance poets Ge?ylah Jones, Reggie Gibson, Brenda Matthews, Malik Yusef, Quraysh Ail Lansana, and a special dance interpretation of Southern Hospitality #2 by Eula Ott. Nicole?s awards include first place in the Gwendolyn Brooks Open Night Poetry contest at the annual Black Writer?s Conference.
