This program features The National Poetry Video Slam, hosted by slam competition founder Marc Smith and judged by celebrities and audience members. Following the video slam, members of the Chicago National Slam Team-including Daniel Ferri, Cin Salach, Maria McCray, and Reggie Gibson will perform and participate in SlamTalk.

Following the video slam, members of the Chicago National Slam Team-including Daniel Ferri, Cin Salach, Maria McCray, and Reggie Gibson will perform and participate in SlamTalk. They will be joined by Slam Nation star Taylor Mali from the New York Slam Team. Hosted by David Kodesjki, poets will engage in a raucous, no holds barred brawl over slamming, Slam Nation and ?the competition,? where anything can happen and probably will.
