Geumhyung Jeong is a South Korean artist interested in the human body, the objects that surround it, and the blurred boundaries between who controls who, what controls which. Oil Pressure Vibrator articulates her fascination with the excavator and its movements, wielding heavy machinery to break into the complexities of sexuality. Narrated live (with English subtitles), it is a quest interwoven with performance, documentary film and genre-defying video work.
